Science Park of the Philippine's ("SPPI") mission is to be an industry leader by developing world-class, environment-friendly industrial estates for major foreign and local investors in strategic growth areas in the country. To support this, one of the company's commitments is to exercise responsible stewardship of the environment and promote mutually supportive relationships with host communities. The activities of the SPPI Community Relations Unit benefit locators by way of the peace and order in the host community, assistance in securing barangay clearances and permits, public relations, labor source, and social responsibility.
The following are community projects undertaken by SPPI that has led to its Best Community Project Awards for 1997, 1998, and 1999 from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
